The Emerging Church & The
New Age
It’s
Just a Merging Together of Some Age Old Lies

instruction and correction loves knowledge, but he who hates reproof is
like a brute beast, STUPID and indiscriminating.” (Proverbs 12:1 Amplified
Bible)
One of the first
signs of maturity I look for in people is their willingness to be corrected
when they are wrong. Many people are “teachable” in that they thirst for
knowledge.
However, not all people are “correctable,” meaning
they are willing to acknowledge when they are wrong.
The Bible says that
people who hate correction are “stupid.”
New Age
“Spirituality,” simply put, is just another man-centered rejection of God’s Plan of Redemption through Jesus Christ. (2
Corinthians 5:17,21)
Many Christians are being just
plain “stupid” when it comes to “New Age” and "Emerging
Church" teachings.
They do
not care
that the Bible forbids their "new" belief system.
It is a belief system of
convenience and they are not open to correction.
How about you?
Are you an uncorrectable “New Ager”?
Or, as is it now
called, "The Emerging Church."
The
name "New Age" is no longer popular and carries negative
connotations so it has been changed.
Christian
people have caught onto the name "New Age" and it's deception so a
name change was inevitable. Now the New Age movement is referred to as
"The Emerging Church."
Really,
though, it should be labeled, "The Merging Church" because that is
what it is.
The “New
Age,” "Emerging Church" sounds pretty hip to the unsuspecting and uneducated.
However, it is nothing more than a
confusing merging of a mish-mash of concepts taken from Catholicism, Hinduism and Buddhism, along
with other make-believe spiritual disciplines, combined with other occult
practices that developed in Western Europe in past
centuries.
It
all comes right off the same rusty old spiritual junk pile.
All of these ancient deceptions came right out of the mind
of Satan, the “Father of Lies.” (John
8:44)
The New Age,
Emerging Church has simply reintroduced these aged, ancient lies
in more contemporary packaging such as "Christian Yoga," movies, computer games,
Transformational and Transpersonal Education, “Divinity Within” business seminars, etc.
These are all deliberately designed to alter and distort the Biblical
belief and value system of Christianity.
The foundational
New Age belief is in a Universal “oneness,” called “Monism.” This
teaches that everything in the world – rocks, trees, animals, people – all
share a Universal “energy” which can be called “God,” “Energy,” the
“Force,” etc.
A second basic belief
is that this Universal “energy” is Divine. Therefore, rocks, trees,
animals and humans are all “God” in disguise.
A third basic
belief is that people need to be “transformed to higher consciousness” so
they can realize their own “Divinity.” Practices such as Yoga,
meditative chanting, spirit guides and crystals “help” to achieve this
non-existent state of higher consciousness.
Many Christian
Churches and formerly
Christian organizations such as the “YMCA” have opened their doors to these
“Doctrines of Demons” (1 Timothy 4:1) in a desperate attempt to draw new
members. God is no longer blessing the Christian Churches and organizations that
do such things.
A fourth basic
belief is that all religions are one at their basic core. Jesus,
Buddha, Krishna, etc., are all the same – simply Divine
men who were in tune with the “oneness” of all things.
In the West
where Jesus is popular, the New Age calls oneness “Christ-consciousness” in
order to attract unsuspecting Christians into their cult.
These prideful,
demonic, Bible-rejecting beliefs are now permeating our society.
“Oneness” became suddenly popular in the Star Wars Trilogy. It’s called “The
Force.”
Other movies such as “The Dark Crystal,” “Willow” and
“Indiana Jones” center on these demonic beliefs, as well.
Popular TV
Talk Shows absolutely thrive on these Doctrines of Demons, as well.
Children are now being taught New Age meditation in some schools.
Popular holistic,
demonic “therapies” claim to balance the body’s “energy”
flow through “Chakra” points.
The sale of occult objects and
literature, particularly ones that deny Christ’s Divinity, portraying Him
only as a man of “oneness” are big, big business.
It’s a big, big
SCAM!
There is no harmony between New Age,
Emerging Church lies and
Bible Truths.
The God of the Bible is separate and distinct from His Creation.
(Genesis 1 & 2)
God alone is God. (Isaiah 45:5,6) He offers
power and Eternal Life, not “energy.”
Man’s problem is not
“ignorance of his divinity” as the New Age teaches.
Man’s problem is sin.
(Romans 3:23)
“Personal Transformation” comes only by repentance for sin. (Luke 13:3)
“Global
Transformation” will come the same way. (Matthew 28:19)
All religions
are not the same.
Jesus said, “I am the Way, the Truth and
the Life: no man cometh to the Father, but by Me.” (John 14:6)
All you need to do is say, “Jesus, I choose You”
to initiate your transformation
in my life. (Romans 10:13)
DON’T BE STUPID! The “New Age” is just “Old Lies.”
The
"Emerging Church" is really the "Merging Church."
It's
a demonic attempt at merging the Divine with the demonic.
The
New Age and the Emerging Church are rooted in killing, stealing, destroying
and seducing the Body of Christ & the people of the world!
It
is Satan and demon powers doing what they do best!
"The
thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come
that they might have life, and that they might have it more
abundantly." (John 10:10)
"Now
the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart
from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of
devils." (1 Timothy 4:1)
People
do not know they are deceived because they are deceived.
Ask
the Lord, "Am I deceived concerning any of what I have just read?"
He'll
show you if you really want to know.
